OUR PAST...

As our ancestors had done before us, we, members of Holy Family Maronite Church, are poised to build for our future. While faces have changed since the days when our parents built our current home for Holy Family, one thing remains constant: our commitment to God, to one another, and to the betterment of our community. Today, we are called together to face the challenges of moving our Parish family to a new location so that we can secure a space for the growth of our community, our children and grandchildren. Our goal is to have 100% participation from our parishioners. Through the thoughtful prayer, volunteer and financial support of our Holy Family Community, we will succeed in our task and, in so doing, make Holy Family Church an even better place to celebrate and grow in faith.

OUR CHALLENGES...

Holy Family Church was built in the midst of the community which was the center of both the spiritual and social life of the parishioners. Today, most of our people live far from the current structure . Furthermore, our current building is no longer as user friendly as it needs to be to meet the growing spiritual and social needs of our community:

1. We need our Church to be closer to where our families live. The Church can once again be at the center of our lives.

2. We need educational space for our children for both new and existing programs. Our current structure lacks an adequate learning environment.

3. We need a safe entertainment space for our children and youth: playgrounds, TV & music rooms, etc.

4. We need a handicapped-accessible Church and facilities, with adequate parking.

5. We need meeting space for our church groups, for adult faith formation, bible studies, conferences, etc.

6. We need a larger and nicer Social Hall to host our coffees, fundraisers, wedding & baptism receptions, mercy meals, etc. This hall would also include a bigger kitchen serving our increasingly popular fundraisers.

7. We need a large office and bigger work space that is separate from the Rectory, and a smaller home for our Pastor to be used solely as living quarters.

OUR FUTURE...

It is time to join together and to address these clear and immediate needs. As our fellow parishioners and ancestors have done before us, we must respond to God's call to continue to grow as a community of faith. As our ancestors left us a beautiful church to be proud of, let us also leave the generations after us something to be proud of for decades to come. Your gift can make a difference in the present, but also in the lives of many future generations of Holy Family parishioners and friends. In addition to our Parish Council and the Stewardship Committee, we will need many more leaders and volunteers to help with this important effort. Please say yes when asked to help.

HOW CAN I HELP?

In preparation for this campaign, you can do the following:

1. Pray for the success of the campaign. Our future is in God's hands, and every day we try to discover and accomplish His will.

2. Volunteer your time to different fundraisers or committees. Much work needs to be done!

3. Help develop and commit to programs and activities at Holy Family Church. Suggestions are welcome!

4. Consider a sacrificial gift to the campaign. Fill out and return your Pledge Card. Your monetary donations are the bricks of our future building! YOU can make a big difference in the life of our Church. Let us open our hearts and hands to God. Your support will assure our campaign's and church's future success!
